| Full Event Details | We set off from Cowden station, going east towards the 16th century Bassetts Farm and Bassetts Mill. From there we walk south to link up with the Sussex border path. Walking west we should arrive at the Fountain Pub (01342 850528) in Cowden village for an early lunch at approx. 12 noon. The pub is quite small, ergo it is advisable to bring some rations in case it is overwhelmed. After luncheon we carry on along the border path straddling Kent and East Sussex and then head north-east through Reynolds Wood towards Dormansland, Surrey and home. |
